allowdoing和allowtodo的区别

allow doing 允许做某事

没有 allow to do这种用法，但被动语态中可用： sb be allowed to do sth 。

所以谈不上区别。

注：

allow 的用法：

allow doing sth. 允许做某事

allow sb to do sth . 允许某人做某事

sb be allowed to do sth 被允许做某事

如

1). It's  not allow  smoking in this meeting room.

这间会议室里是不允许吸烟的。

 2). His parents allow him to watch TV half an hour every day .

    他父母亲允许他每天看半小时电视。

3). Students aren't allowed to  smoke . 

     学生不许吸烟。

    注：不能说“Students don't allow to smoke ."
